Perspective Therapeutics, Inc. was formed on February 14, 2023, after privately held Viewpoint Molecular Targeting, Inc. completed a merger with Isoray, Inc. and changed its name.
Perspective Therapeutics is a clinical-stage, radiopharmaceutical company that is pioneering innovative treatments for cancers. The Company’s proprietary technology utilizes the alpha emitting isotope Pb-212 to deliver powerful radiation directly to cancer cells via high-affinity targeting peptides.
These radiotherapies are developed as theranostic platforms by incorporating the radiotracer Pb-203 for imaging into the same targeting peptides. This theranostic approach enables physicians to confirm tumor target expression and tissue distribution prior to therapy, with the potential to select eligible patients and minimize toxicity associated with other types of cancer treatments.
Our Focus
Our focus is the advancement of cancer treatments using the power of targeted alpha-radiation in a theranostics platform. Through the use of high affinity targeting peptides, we aim to deliver cytotoxic radiation directly to the tumor site, impacting a layer of just one to three cells thereby sparing healthy tissue.
Our Approach
Perspective Therapeutics is developing innovative radiopharmaceutical therapies that incorporate proprietary in-house technologies such as tumor-specific targeting peptides, an optimized lead-chelator connected to the peptide via a carefully selected linker molecule, and on-demand manufacturing of Pb-212. A strong pipeline, a rigorous clinical development program, and the expansion of manufacturing sites to new locations demonstrate our commitment to identifying and optimizing ways to best deliver therapies for patients.
